Dr. Ben operates a fully mobile euthanasia-only practice serving all of Southern New Jersey, including Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties. If you are located outside these boundaries, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your family.
-
We provide gentle end-of-life care for companion animals of all sizes. This includes cats and dogs (from pocket-sized to giant breeds), backyard poultry and waterfowl (chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks), small ruminants (sheep, goats), and small "pocket pets" (hamsters, rabbits) upon request. Don’t see your species listed? Reach out.

Our priority is a peaceful, pain-free transition. Dr. Ben will first administer a gentle sedative that allows your pet to fall into a deep, comfortable sleep over 10 to 15 minutes. Once they are completely relaxed and resting, the final medication (an overdose of anesthesia) is given. You and your family can remain right by your pet’s side through every moment.
-
Absolutely. We want your pet to be wherever they are most comfortable. This can be on their favorite living room bed, nestled in your lap, or outside under a favorite tree, weather permitting. For small ruminants or backyard poultry, we can care for them directly in their familiar barn or coop environment. If they had a favorite park or beach where we can legally perform this, we are happy to meet you there!
-
We offer respectful aftercare transport following the appointment. You can choose private cremation (where your pet’s ashes are returned to you), aquamation (an environmentally friendly water-based alternative, where your pets ashes are returned to you), communal cremation (where ashes are not returned), or home burial according to your local township ordinances. If you would like, you can also transport your pet to a local crematory facility yourself. You can find a listing of local options here.
-
Dr. Ben is fully equipped to handle respectful aftercare transport for animals of all sizes, and has both a stretcher and a manual hydraulic lift if needed to facilitate careful movement.

Dr. Ben only provides euthanasia services at this time.
