Compassionate Dignified Care

Dr. Ben grew up rurally in Southern NJ with his dogs as his closest friends and a deep appreciation for the natural world around him. His love of animals and his desire to partner with their stewards led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He graduated from American University with a BA in Human Psychology, took adjunct classes at Rowan and Rutgers for his pre-veterinary curriculum and eventually graduated from Virginia Tech’s Veterinary School (VMCVM) in 2018. While there, he met his wife, also a veterinary student at the time, and they now reside in Cumberland County on a 250 year old farm with three kids and endless projects. In his spare time, Dr. Ben enjoys reading, riding horses, gardening and taking long walks in the woods accompanied by his children and some number of dogs and usually a cat.

Dr Ben became passionate about in home care and euthanasia after the very first time he experienced it; understanding that it can provide a superior atmosphere for families and pets alike. He feels strongly that his job is to partner with pet parents to implement their decision and to help them gather what information they need to make informed decisions. He is passionate about geriatric medicine and making sure all animals receive dignity, care, and respect through every stage of their lives.

Dr. Ben seeks to provide the best end of life care available and wants to work with you to implement your vision for this event. He will facilitate your pet’s passing in as comfortable a manner as is possible.
